Weapon Prestige

At a weapon’s max level you can optionally enter Weapon Prestige: the level resets to 1 and attachments relock except Apex and Blueprint attachments, while cosmetics stay. Reaching max again enters Weapon Prestige Master automatically with no reset.
Unlock
Reach the weapon’s Max Level.
Use cases
- Guide suggestion: enter Prestige after finishing camos that need specific attachments.
- Guide suggestion: choose it for your favourite weapon to earn a new icon and the Pyroclast camo.
Tips
- Shared Attachments on other weapons do not relock.
- Blueprints, camos, reticles and stickers are kept.
- The new icon shows in Gunsmith and the Killcam.
Common mistakes
- Prestiging before finishing challenges that need attachments that will relock.
- Thinking it is mandatory; it is optional.
