What it does

A thermal lance that burrows through surfaces before releasing an explosive round.

Why it helps

• Reach an enemy hiding behind a wall or door without line of sight.
• Flush enemies from a dug-in position without exposing yourself.

When to use it

Pick it against enemies camping rooms behind walls and doors.

Use cases

• An enemy holed up behind a wall or closed door.
• Defenders inside an objective room.
• Clearing a corner before entering.

Tips

• Pair it with a recon tool to know who is behind the wall.
• Throw it at the wall next to the enemy, not just the door.
• Be ready to chase whoever bolts after it fires.

Common mistakes

• Throwing it at a surface with no one behind it.
• Expecting an instant kill; there is a delay before the round fires.
• Using it in open space where a normal grenade would do.
