A ground device that emits a periodic radar ping to detect nearby enemies. Think of it as a small, fixed UAV: it covers only your area, but you get it without needing a killstreak.
What it does

Why it helps
- Intel on nearby enemies without needing a UAV streak.
- Keeps pinging your area so you know when someone approaches your objective.
When to use it
Pick it to defend an objective or hold an area. Players using Ghost aren't detected by it.

Player Level 4.

- Holding an objective and knowing which way enemies approach.
- Watching the bomb site after a plant.
- Supporting your team in a busy fight zone.
Tips
- Place it somewhere sheltered near the objective.
- Watch the minimap on every ping.
- Pair it with Birdseye to read direction.
Common mistakes
- Placing it far from the action.
- Treating no pings as proof nobody is there, though Ghost hides its users.
- Leaving it exposed so it is destroyed quickly.
